Overall grading activity was ⬇ 16% in September compared to August and ⬇ 1% YoY.
- September was the lowest overall grading month thus far in 2024 with 1.52 million cards graded.
The September total was roughly 280k fewer items than were graded in August.
It was also the first year over year decline seen in 2024.
- PSA graded 1.18m cards - ⬇15% vs August, ⬇2% YoY.
- SGC graded 147k cards - ⬇12% vs August, ⬆28% YoY.
- CGC graded 145k cards - ⬇15% vs August, ⬇1% YoY.
- Beckett graded 46k cards - ⬇28% vs August, ⬇24% YoY.
