- Overall grading activity was ⬆11% in July compared to June and ⬆36% YoY.
Roughly 1.71 million cards were graded across the four companies.
- PSA graded 1.27m cards - ⬆10% vs June, ⬆22% YoY
- SGC graded 194k cards* - ⬆32% vs June, ⬆105% YoY
- CGC graded 190k cards - ⬆6% vs June, ⬆172% YoY
- Beckett graded 54k cards - ⬆4% vs June, ⬇4% YoY
- Note: GemRate inadvertently excluded ~22k cards that were graded by SGC in the May and June reports; those results have been added to July totals. We apologize for the oversight.

July was a solid month for PSA as they juggled a number of initiatives (eBay consignment ramp, Grader Notes, comics announcement) and had a significant presence at the National.

In 2023, August results increased meaningfully compared to July - will we see a similar trend in 2024?

Beckett seems stuck in neutral, with July's results looking very similar to those of June and the same period a year ago.
That said, there are some signs of life in basketball grading, thanks to Wembanyama.
